Finding New Uses for Old Cans
I don't like canned laughter. I don't like canned spam. And the canned cheeseburger sounds mighty gross (yep, they exist). But I think I'll take my flowers canned any day. Of course, not everything below is in a can. I think some of those are tins, but after browsing wedding images for nearly an hour, we're just going to call them cans. And if you don't like it? You can can it! (Boy, was that a corny joke or what!?)

I love this look, but any time I have ever used cans for fresh flowers, I have ended up with lovely rust rings on my tables. Yuck. Any solutions to that?
I'm in love with this look - been rocking it around the house, currently with baby's breath!
I too like the idea of using cans in lieu of traditional vases for flowerss. It adds character to any design be it for home or event decor.
Sprout - I would never have thought about rust stains, but that makes total sense! Could you set the cans in little trays full of pebbles?
@Sprout - I never even thought about rust stains. I have to agree with Glue and Glitter - a little tray of pebbles might work nicely. Or you could try one of those flat, glass platforms used to place candles on. Something less aesthetically pleasing, but rather inexpensive are those thin cork coasters. Hope that helps! :)
