Give-Away!

Okay, so I know I said Monday's would be all about living healthier, but today is an exception. I completely forgot about my beau-coup post! Here's the deal: Beau-coup Wedding Favors, an online retailer of wedding favors and accessories, asked 15 wedding bloggers to choose one of their favors and center a theme around it. I was delighted to be a part of those 15! Not just because I love creating inspiration boards (but rarely have time to do it), but also because there is a give away involved! (Keep reading - I'll get to that in a minute.) So here's what I did: I chose their flower gift box (top left picture), made out of mulberry paper and topped with a handcrafted paper flower, and created an inspiration board to reflect my theme of "intimate, backyard wedding." I like the idea of using these boxes for a wedding of about 25-50, filling them with organic candies or confetti, and since they come in different colors you could even use them as centerpiece decor! They're pretty enough for your guests to take home and put their own trinkets in.

Here's where you come in! Leave a comment with your own idea about how to use this favor, or any other Beau-coup favor, before November 17th and you could win a gift card to Beau-coup! Two winners will be chosen - first prize is a $75 gift card to Beau-coup.com and second prize is a $50 gift card. Please make sure to leave your e-mail or include your blogger name so there is a way to contact you if you win.

To top it off, Beau-coup will be giving away $250 cash to the best blog entry, which, if we won, would be donated to an environmental charity chosen by a poll on here!

I love the mint tins. I would make customized stickers for each tin so they can also serve as table assignments. This way, I don't have to use extra materials to make place cards.

well me being the "green" nut that I am, my favorite favors are the Personalized Plantable Seed Favors. I think that is the coolest idea ever. I wish that I would have known about it for my wedding I would have loved to use those. I'll just have to wait until I have a baby one day now...

I like the idea of using it as a wish box... you could have all of your guests write their well wishes for you on your wedding day.

I am in love with the topiary place card holders. Our wedding will take place next summer in my fiance's parents' backyard, and the topiaries fit so well with our plan of a glamorous garden party! I would love to use them to display menus or table numbers; and keep them for place card holders to set my own table at home!

I would use the mini buri fans and create wedding programs that mimic the shape of the fans to make these great items multi use:

1. Fan (obvi)
2. Unique Program concept
3. Favor

These would be cute for many weddings from barn to beach to garden party. The evoke a casual elegance which every outdoor wedding tries to capture.

If price were no object and my budget was unlimited, I would choose the Mini Lucky Bamboo plants. How cool to incorporate those into centerpieces or as part of my cupcake display!

I love your board! I have been thinking about the personalized hot sauce bottles from Beau Coup. My fiance and best friend have been talking about making their own hot sauce for years. Maybe this will inspire them.

I LOVE the ceramic ornaments place card holders. They'd go perfect with the Christmas dishes I got last year!!! Talk about a stylish dinner party!!!

I love the glass spice jars! I would fill them with whole, fresh, fair-trade coffee beans. yummm.

also, if my Fi, an electrical engineer, would help out (I'm sure he would), i would convert the jars into homemade sun jars! our ceremony is going to be bayside, so i would line them up along the dock at sunset for a wonderful glow, and then guests could take them home!

both go with my theme a modern wedding with eco-friendly, green elements.

I'd go for the chocolate caramel apples for an informal outdoor fall wedding. Though instead of the sole dessert, I'd love to have everyone go for a walk in a park, nibbling apples and enjoying nature either before or after the ceremony.

I'm an absolute tea nut, so I would love to have a loose leaf tea bar and use the personalized mini glass candy jars as the container for each person's selection. They're cute and a clean and simple design that I love but you can still add a little personalization to the lid. perfect!

The Midori Party Favor bag kit is just too cute! We were wanting to do a candy bar, and these adorable recycled bags would be a stylish & eco-friendly thank-you. And the gold/blue Cherry Blossom design couldn't go better with our colors and the garden location...

I would definitely use the flower seeds. It is a great reminder to guests that we need to give back to the earth. They can bring the seeds home and watch them grow.
