Because this blog represents a company, I try to stay away from politics and potentially controversial issues. I hope I'm not making a mistake here, but you know what, I'm really disappointed! I'm more than disappointed, I'm incensed! I honestly can't wrap my head around what the big deal is with same sex marriages. Yeah yeah, I know...the bible. I'm not going to touch that one, but I've heard the argument. But let's think about this. One person loves another. They want to get married. Okay, sounds good to me. Maybe I'm wrong, but I like to think that much of my generation feels the same way.
I like Melissa Etheridge's post. I think she has a good point.

hey... my only thing is... i wish when they passed stuff it wasn't just for one state...it should be for the entire country.. i never have understood that... like if they ever do say "okay..people can marry in california.." well then thats not fair to the people in say north dakota. haha other than that...i guess i'm sorta with you.. if they love eachother..then let them marry... who cares really.
i know the bible says stuff but it says alot of stuff that people don't go by anymore...
I'm with you on this one. If they can adopt children then they should be able to marry, too. What ever happened to equal rights?
BTW, I tagged your blog. I can always find beautiful event inspiration here and wanted to share it with others. Check out my Monday post to see what it's all about.
