Green Mariachi!

I have a confession to make. I love mariachi bands. I secretly entertained the idea of having one at my own wedding, but never outwardly expressed it. So you can imagine I'm very jealous of the couple above, who hired a huge mariachi crew for their wedding. I bet it was a ton of fun. Not to mention incredibly earth friendly, considering mariachi bands are, most often, completely powerless, meaning they don't plug into anything. I thought I'd throw in a few other earth friendly elements from this wedding, such as the beautiful colored potted flowers which would also make for a lovely patio garden. And check out the casually cool groom's attire! Looks like that "suit" was probably very comfortable on the honeymoon too!

Excuse the "Proof" written on each photo, I found these on Winfield Little Photographic Studios.

Thanks for the tag!

Jennifer, I recently went to a restaurant with a mariachi band and I asked them to sing La Bamba. They probably thought, "Oh No! Not this song AGAIN!" hehe

I really wanted a mariachi band for our reception (we eloped). We had a Mexican themed party mainly because I wanted to have a wedding piñata instead of a cake. The piñata was all I ever imagined it to be but we didn't end up with a mariachi band. (they were hard to find in Seattle) Someday I will throw another awesome anniversary party and will have the music I wanted the first time!
