Introducing Earthly Affair

I've been working on creating my own little invitation business, earthlyaffair.com, for some time now and although I do have a picture link (to the right), I'm embarrased to say this is the first time I'm actually writing about it here. I guess you could say I've been a little apprehensive about the response I may, or may not, receive. But here is a sneak preview of a few invitations I've designed (still designing). I'm still not sure about the apple one. Is it too cheesy? Any thoughts?

The site is scheduled to launch December 21st and here is some info to get you acquainted. The idea behind earthly affair is to create and produce beautiful and unique invitations while keeping three main objectives in mind-One, to utilize the most earth friendly, responsible resources such as 100% post consumer recycled paper and earth friendly printing methods. Two, to produce the least amount of waste possible which includes recycling every scrap that comes out of our studio, installing compact fluorescent lights, and investing in green energy from our local power company. And Three, to give back to the community and the environment by donating a portion of our profits to environmental and social causes. I'll be sending out a newsletter soon (click here to sign up for it) which will include more info and a special offer as well, available only to those who sign up! Oh, and I almost forget to mention that it looks like I'll probably be offering wedding and baby shower invitations as well.

I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

I love the idea. And I love that green one front & center! I'm not feeling the apple invite, but it's not my style. I'm not sure I'd go with fruit in general! :) Good luck with everything, Jennifer!!!
