Custom Cake Toppers

Personally, I find installation art fascinating. Remember Central Park's, "The Gates"? While others scoffed, I marveled. Anyway, installation and sculpture artist, Hilary Pfeifer satisfies her need to design and create small objects at Bunny With a Toolbelt, her own little online shop. She hand creates some of the cutest cake toppers! Pfeifer writes, "The wood used in all my work is pre-cycled, gleaned from the scrap bins at a local fine woodworking business, and I am proud to use very few store-bought materials in my entire line." Thank you for sharing Hilary! (Check out the adorable stop animation video too!)

Those are really cute!

We used salt & pepper shakers for our cake toppers, and it turned out really well.

BTW, did you see that Jess from How About Orange made homemade deodorant?

It seems pretty earth-friendly to me!
