These boots were made for walkin'...onto an environmental platform

Ah...if only all men fawned over our shoes like that guy in the picture below. On second thought, strike that. It makes for a nice ad pic, but not for an image in my head involving my husband and my shoes.

Okay, so here's the real reason I've posted about these shoes. PJUX, a Copenhagen based company, is offering up their rendition of eco-luxury footware. They avoid the low quality, unethical working conditions of mass production in Asia and instead opt for a much more traditional location in Southern Europe. "The whole collection is produced in natural materials with environmentally conscious production techniques."

Personally speaking, I'm not such a big fan of the style above (lower picture), with the multiple straps around the ankle. It looks a little dominatrix-ish to me, but I do LOVE the styles below.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, Pjux is swedish slang for shoes! Do we have any english slang words for shoes? We must, but I just can't seem to think of any...

Oh, and as for the guy staring at the shoes...well, if my husband looked at my shoes like THAT, I'd be afraid I'd find him IN them one day! LOL
