Happy New Year (almost)!

Happy New Year! Okay, we still have about 8 and a half hours left of 2007 here on the east coast...so it's not quite the New Year, but it's close enough. Hope you enjoyed the holidays and are ready to start a brand new year! I know I am!
Today I'm showing a board inspired by the idea of a New Year's Eve wedding where a high energy party merges with classic sophistication. The dress is my favorite-chic and sophisticated, yet the perfect style for a long night of partying. And the shoes, from vintage fabulous, are my second favorite and would look fabulous paired with such a modern wedding dress. And of course, what would a New Year's Eve wedding be without champagne! Serge Faust Champagne is made from organically grown grapes in the champagne district of France! Although this board isn't entirely earth friendly, many elements could easily, at the very least, be made greener. Donate or sell the dress to another lucky bride to promote the recycling of resources, use soy based candles for decor, organic flowers for your bouquet, and of course, buy vintage or used accessories if possible.
