Fruit Centerpieces!

These are some lovely ways to use fruit for decor. Using organic and/or locally grown fruit and then providing them to your guests as favors is a great way to have an earth friendly centerpiece. A good example is the pictures in the left hand column, both incorporating fresh apples. The pictures on the right hand side are from Better Homes and Garden's "Fresh Christmas Decorating Ideas," but I think they also offer great wedding inspiration, even if it's not during Christmas. I love the top right photo, where cranberries are placed in snow filled candle holders to line the steps into the house (or venue). Perfect for a winter wedding, giving guests a warm welcome before they even go through the door.

I love those limes...something about fruit in a centerpiece really makes me smile. Maybe it's because of that bright color? I don't know!

I am getting married in August and trying really hard to find a creative and beautiful way to use fruit as the centerpieces for our round tables, without it looking too much like a picnic. I think fruit is a great floral alternative and eco-friendly! At first I really wanted to use berries, but then I realized that they probably won't be able to stand the heat. I'm in real need of some more inspiration...this is a good start, but I would love to hear if you have any more ideas!

i did fruit centerpieces for my wedding. it was all real fruit and after my guests stared at them for about 15 minutes trying to decide if they were real or not... they really enjoyed snacking on them fruit. my wedding color and theme was "green" so mine was limes, green apples, pears, & green grapes.. yumm...

This is a great idea. Beautiful center pieces created with fresh and colorful fruit. You cannot go wrong with this type of decorations. And best of all the smell is captivating
