Handmade Pottery, Great as Gifts of for your (cup)Cake

If you ever tell anyone that you've tried the pottery wheel, or that you like the pottery wheel, or hell, if you've even seen a pottery wheel, your conversation will quickly turn to, "Oh, you mean like in that scene in Ghost where Demi Moore is at the pottery wheel." What is it about that scene that makes it so memorable!?

I took pottery classes in college (part of the wonderful, but underrated Bachelor of Fine Arts degree) and I adored it. Unfortunately, I was not nearly as talented as Whitney Smith. I love her use of color and her work's slightly whimsical, but sophisticated nature. She offers up some lovely cupcake stands, cake stands, bowls, vases, and plates.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
