Local Lavender!

Buying your produce locally is a great way to support your local farmers and a great way to support your body. Just this past weekend, Jeff (the hubby) and I, visited a local Chattanooga craft and produce market. We bought a few tomatoes, which I have to admit, tasted absolutely wonderful! If you're looking to purchase lavender for guests to throw at your wedding, you may be able to find that locally too! I was pleasantly surprised to see that Local Harvest, a directory of farmers' markets, family farms, and other sources of sustainably grown food, offers an online shop where you can purchase lavender from farms across the country!

Awesome idea. We had planned on using honey from our CSA for favors if we had the wedding in the city we live in.
