Fashionably Sustainable

Buying someone jewelry can be a little tricky, but if you've got a bridesmaid and/or maid of honor with a wild romantic side and a penchant for unique jewelry, I think you can stop looking for the perfect gift. Gwendolyn Davis, the fabulous jewelry and accessory designer behind VerdeRocks, has found a way to stylishly merge sustainability with fashion. Her jewelry and accessories are self categorized as "sustainable chic" and her designs utilizes what she calls "Nouveau Vintage." She uses "only organic, vintage, recycled and any materials that can be legitimately deemed certifiably sustainable." I love how bold, sophisticated, and distinctive her work is. My favorite is the vintage filagree heart, pictured above, with the vintage chain and crystal. It would look very cute paired up with a simple rehearsal dinner dress where you could let the necklace be the limelight of your ensemble.
