Couldn't help but share this marvelous, custom dress by Leanimal, a previous Project Runway contestant. Unfortunately, she states on her blog that this dress most likely drained her of any motivation to create another custom wedding dress, but the attention to detail is really quite incredible! OMG, now that is a piece of art! So detailed, it's exhausting just looking at it! (in a good way ; ) But it definitely looks like a lot of time went into that!
This is absolutely marvelous. I actually disliked many dresses when I was a bride, finding them (the designers) to be working too hard. A lot were so over embellished or lacked overall character that I think they screamed that the designer believed the bride underneath needed to be swathed in a mask (aka wedding dress).
This does not say that. You can see that the design, the dress, the bride's body would blend harmoniously.
Amazing dress and it certainally has Leanimal's mark on it. I can just imagine the number of hours she put into this as it has such painstaking details. She is a talented designer and I rooted for her all along with Project Runway! Her designs are inspiring.
