Mason Jars

Mason jars are used for more than just good old fashioned southern sweet tea. They can be used as centerpiece holders, luminaries, and apparently, picture frames! It's amazing what kind of creativity you come across when perusing other blogs and websites. And considering they are made out of glass, they're sturdy enough to re-use for years to come! "What would I use them for," you ask? Well, here is a great list to get you started.

I usually have used mason jars as vases just because I do love the rustic look of them!

I'm a canner anyhow (jams, pickles, etc.) and have accumulated a backstock in my pantry. We're planning on using them for our flower centerpieces as well as votive holders at our wedding. One nice thing about having them as candle holders outdoors is that they create a very nice windshield for the flames.
