Today I'm sharing with you a few of my personal endorsements. Whether you're a bride-to-be or not, it can never hurt to pamper yourself with natural beauty products.
Winter is rearing it's ugly head and it's taking its toll on my skin. After reading this awesome post from Ecofabulous about petroleum based chapstick, I was prompted to go to the store and find my own all natural lip balm. I came across Badger's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm, made with organic extra virgin olive oil, and have been in love ever since. It goes on smooth and leaves my lips feeling hydrated and refreshed.
Another one of my favorite skin care products is the Moisture Stick from Deep Steep. It comes in lots of yummy scents and is great for a little dab here and there. I get really dry around my cheeks and chin during the winter, so I put a little on before bedtime and find it works wonders overnight.
Also on the list is Aveda's Control Paste, made with Black tea, Guar beans, and organic flax seed. I honestly don't use a lot of hair products, but with the hairstyle I have now, I have these bangs, that have to be swept to the side and I find the control paste works wonderfully. Careful though, too much and your hair will look greasy.
And last on the list is Cargo's Plant Love Lipstick. I haven't tried this yet, but I admit I really, really want to! Each lipstick comes in a plantable box and the actual tube is made of corn! The lipstick itself is made with Orchid Complex™ and meadowfoam seed oil as well as jojoba and shea butter. No mineral oils or petroluem!
